Junior MERL Intern

Qualification & Experience

• Education:
  BSc or above in:
• Statistics
• Economics
• Development Economics
• Agricultural Economics
• Project Management
• Monitoring & Evaluation
• Related fields

Experience: No prior experience required

Required Skills

• Familiarity with: KoBo, ODK, CommCare, SPSS, STATA, etc.
• Effective communication and sociability
• Desired: Project Management, Teamwork, Problem Solving

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review daily/weekly project plans and reports
• Extract key achievements, lessons learned & challenges
• Support MERL performance review and data compilation
• Provide initial feedback to project teams
• Ensure MoV, KPIs & deliverables meet standards
• Check that indicators are SMART and well-defined
• Assist in preparing weekly/monthly MERL reports
• Track project performance with field MERL staff
• Escalate issues to MERL Coordinator
• Maintain proper documentation & knowledge management
• Ensure accurate use of tools (Kobo, SharePoint, OnePAD)
• Participate in MERL meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
