Job SummaryAmigos SACCO Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Officer to manage lending operations, conduct credit assessments, process loan applications, and support timely disbursement and repayment while maintaining portfolio quality.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage loan applications from verification through disbursement.
- Conduct financial analysis and capacity assessments.
- Prepare complete loan files with technical recommendations.
- Ensure efficient loan processing.
- Work with Collection & Risk Officers on credit handovers and risk mitigation.
- Monitor early warning indicators.
- Maintain knowledge of credit products, policies, and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperative Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Management, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of experience in credit analysis, lending operations, or customer credit management.
