Job Description

The Technical Field Support Officer will be responsible for the effective coordination, support, and implementation of the E-Voucher system within assigned locations. The role involves providing field-level technical assistance, troubleshooting, capacity building.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Coordinate E-Voucher Implementation

  • Provide field-based technical support, leadership, and daily coordination of system rollout
  • Troubleshoot system, operational, and logistical issues
  • Oversee device distribution, storage, and usage
  • Conduct awareness and registration campaigns with MFIs, MPCs, and agricultural experts
  • Collect and monitor voucher distribution and redemption data
  • Analyze field data to generate insights and improvement options
  • Conduct follow-up visits after troubleshooting
  • Produce weekly and monthly activity reports

Mobile Application Technical Support

  • Install and configure the E-Voucher mobile application for MFI Agents & MPC Officers
  • Ensure all mobile devices are fully operational and configured
  • Monitor system performance and analyze logs
  • Prepare technical reports and document troubleshooting outcomes
  • Ensure timely registration and onboarding of users
  • Escalate critical issues to the Regional Manager

Training & Capacity Building

  • Provide on-job practical training for new and existing MFI, MPC, and cashier staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and continuous capacity enhancement

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate campaigns with MFIs, MPCs, and agricultural experts
  • Work with Zone/Woreda E-Voucher Technical Committees
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders and beneficiaries
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with partners
