Job Description
BLESS Agri-Food Laboratory Services PLC is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017-accredited laboratory established in 2011 through a joint venture between Ethiopian and French investors.The company is one of Ethiopia's focal conformity assessment bodies, specializing in testing, product certification, inspection, and training services for agri-food products.
The company invites qualified fresh graduates to apply for the following position.
Position: Junior Customer Service Officer
Educational Qualification
BSc or BA Degree in Business and Economics or Natural Sciences.
Work Experience
No prior work experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Under the close supervision of the Customer Service Division Manager, the Junior Customer Service Officer will:
Receive or collect samples for testing and ensure they are properly registered, coded, handled, and transferred to the relevant department.
Ensure that samples received fall within the scope of the laboratory's testing services.
Follow applicable procedures and principles when receiving and handling samples for testing and analysis.
Follow up on customer orders and take appropriate corrective action in cases of delays or customer complaints.
Collect and issue test results, certification and inspection reports, certificates, decisions, and other deliverables to customers.
Receive, register, and professionally respond to customer enquiries.
Follow up on customer concerns and complaints to ensure they are resolved in the best interests of both customers and the company.
Promote and clearly explain the company's services to current and potential customers.
Provide technical and professional advice and support to the company's marketing and sales staff.
Establish and maintain transparent working relationships with customers based on formal contract agreements and terms of reference.
Maintain effective communication and good working relationships with customers.
