Branch Manager I – Nib Insurance Company S.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate overall branch operations.
• Ensure effective delivery of insurance services to clients.
• Supervise and support branch staff.
• Monitor branch performance and achievement of targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support underwriting, claims, customer service, and other branch activities.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit branch performance reports.
• Support business development and customer retention.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with one of the following:
  • 2 years as Senior Underwriting Officer or Senior Claims Officer; or
  • 1 year as Contact Office Head; or
  • 3 years as Underwriting Officer II or Claims Officer II; or
  • Relevant experience in a similar position.

Position Details

• Job Grade: VIII
• Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
• Employment: Permanent after successful completion of probationary period.
• Salary & Benefits: As per the company's salary scale and benefit packages.
