Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Management

• Develop and implement logistics and transport strategies
• Lead budgeting, planning, and resource allocation
• Identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities

Operations Management

• Oversee daily logistics, freight, and transport activities
• Manage fleet, warehousing, and distribution systems
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of goods

Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams
• Monitor inventory and shipment schedules
• Ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain flow

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with clients, government bodies, and partners
• Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and standards
• Oversee customs clearance and documentation
• Enforce safety and environmental policies

Financial Management

• Manage departmental budgets and costs
• Monitor financial performance and reporting

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and develop logistics teams
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance oversight
• Promote accountability and continuous improvement

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage
• Professional certifications (CILT, CSCP, etc.) are preferred

Experience:

• 15–20 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles
• Experience in large-scale logistics or infrastructure projects is highly preferred

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
