Job Description

The HR Manager will oversee all human resource functions, ensuring effective workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational development. This role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Lead succession planning and talent management initiatives.
  • Support executive leadership with workforce planning and organizational design.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all positions.
  • Develop and implement onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Maintain talent pipelines and internship programs.

Employee Relations & Development

  • Develop employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and productivity.
  • Implement performance management systems and career development plans.
  • Address grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure adherence to Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain HR records, contracts, and compliance documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Oversee payroll administration and incentive programs.

Training & Capacity Building

  • Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs.
  • Promote a learning culture and continuous professional growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience; 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Competence in HR software and Microsoft Office.
