Junior Purchasing Officer – Maintenance Equipment: Menkem International Business PLC

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming purchase requisitions for accuracy, proper approval, and complete technical specifications.
• Verify spare parts requisitions against equipment manuals and asset bills of materials to ensure correct part numbers and specifications.
• Prepare and process approved Purchase Orders (POs) within the ERP system, ensuring accurate pricing, manufacturer codes, and delivery terms.
• Send Purchase Orders to suppliers and obtain order confirmations, verifying prices and expected delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support purchasing documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of maintenance equipment and spare parts.
• Assist in monitoring procurement activities and resolving purchasing-related issues.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Technology, Auto Mechanics, or a related field.

Experience

• 0 years of experience required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

• Basic computer skills (mandatory).
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes is an advantage.
