Job Description
New Millennium Women Empowerment Organization (NMWEO) is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2007 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.NMWEO works to provide support and services to vulnerable communities and operates in line with humanitarian, safeguarding, and ethical standards.
Accountant
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Master's degree is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with a local NGO
- Advanced knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS/GAAP
- Extensive experience with enterprise-level accounting software
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct
