Job Description
Pave Logistics & Trading PLC is inviting qualified and detail-oriented applicants to apply for the position of Cashier in Addis Ababa.The Cashier will handle and record credit and debit transactions, process customer payments, maintain accurate cash records, and support the company's financial operations.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Process and accurately record credit and debit transactions.
- Handle cash and credit payments from customers.
- Prepare daily cash reports and balance the cash register.
- Maintain accurate financial transaction records.
- Assist with sales and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Reconcile cash drawers and resolve discrepancies.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field, with relevant work experience.
Experience:
- 0–1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
🛠 Required Skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of cash registers and accounting software.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of IFRS and ERP is an advantage.
