Job Description

The PMER Officer reports to the PMER Head and is responsible for planning, coordination, and reporting across HQ and branch levels. The role ensures integration, quality, and timeliness of operational plans and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to HQ work units and branches for Annual Operational Plan (AOP) preparation.
  • Ensure integration and quality of AOPs prepared by HQ and branches.
  • Compile and consolidate AOPs and periodic reports across the National Society.
  • Collaborate with capacity-building units to develop SOPs and operational guidelines for PMEL.
  • Support coordination of program/project proposals before submission to partners.
  • Prepare and manage reporting timetables, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Document key findings from field monitoring and integrate into periodic reports.
  • Coordinate preparation of periodic reports at HQ and branch levels.
  • Ensure programs/projects have well-defined Monitoring & Evaluation plans.
  • Support tracking of project implementation and performance indicators.
  • Facilitate program review sessions and periodic monitoring activities.
  • Incorporate Protection, Gender, and Inclusion (PGI) considerations in all project activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the line manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Development Planning, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant work experience in project management, monitoring, or evaluation.

Required Skills

  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and across organizational levels.
