Job Description
The Junior HR and Administration Officer will assist in managing daily HR activities and ensuring efficient office operations. The position supports recruitment processes, employee documentation, compliance with labor regulations, and administrative coordination under the supervision of management
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in posting job vacancies
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates
- Prepare employment contracts and offer letters
- Support onboarding documentation and procedures
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with ALPA policies and labor regulations
Payroll & Data Support
- Assist with payroll preparation
- Collect attendance records, leave data, and employee information
- Support documentation accuracy for payroll processing
General Administration
- Manage electronic and physical filing systems
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
- Support the General Manager with assigned administrative tasks
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of HR functions and Ethiopian labor laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
